Crashes immediately, rendered USELESS!

I use this app a lot and generally live it, but this update changed the icon to yellow and made the app useless by crashing immediately.

I believe this happened on a previous update and the fix was to remove and then reinstall the app. But that erases all of your settings like the list of favorite locations, trip computer history, etc.

How does a company the size of Garmin release an app that people rely on without proper testing? This should never have gotten out to customers!!!
